Applying for leave is super simple. Here’s how it works and what you need to keep in mind.
How to Apply for Leave
- Log in to the Keka HR portal.
- Click on ‘Me’ in the right menu,
- Select “Leave” and then click “Apply Leave”.
- Fill in the details carefully (leave type, dates, reason) and submit.
Approval Process
- Once you apply for leave, it goes to your reporting manager for approval.
- Managers are expected to review and act on leave applications within a reasonable time, keeping project timelines and team workload in mind.
- If a leave application (submitted within the required timelines) is not approved or rejected by the manager within the defined period in Keka or before the leave start date (whichever is earlier), the request will be auto-approved by the system.
Note – All leaves of more than 3 days should be planned in advance with a minimum intimation of 1 month. Team leaders should ensure that not more than 1 person is on leave for more than 3 days in any calendar month. (This is very important to avoid abrupt resource crunches due to leaves)
