What’s an incentive?
An incentive is a monetary reward paid to an employee basis the company or division reaching their revenue targets. This incentive is our way of recognising your effort towards company success and is over and above your CTC. Hence, this is your opportunity to earn more than your fixed income.
Who is eligible for this incentive?
Every employee who is a leading a new initiative/managing a team is eligible for an incentive. The incentive amount will be decided and communicated at the time of the appraisal or at the time of joining.
When will the incentive be paid?
The incentive amount will be paid to you on a yearly basis and will be prorated. For example, if your appraisal cycle is in July 2022, your incentive bonus will be calculated till June 2023, and paid in August 2023.
In other cases, let’s say an employee joins mid-year and gets confirmed in December 2022, they will be eligible for the incentive. It’ll be calculated from the time of joining or confirmation till June 2023 on a prorated basis (for 7 months) and paid out in August 2023.
What happens if an employee leaves before the incentive payout date?
The incentive is calculated and paid on a yearly basis because it is linked to the company or division revenue. In case an employee resigns before the date of calculation (30th June), they will not receive the incentive.
